Component 3: ENHANCE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS
Component 3
Component 3 will provide training and employment support activities that aim to increase CBSP community members’ knowledge and confidence to participate in CBS Fund and other economic development activities, as well as skills and income generation abilities in both the formal and informal sectors.
Sub-components
This will be accomplished through three sub-components: (a) Literacy and Numeracy Development; (b) Livelihoods, Work Readiness, and Life Skills Training; and (c) Employment Support and Referral Services. Target communities, specific training, and support services under 3(b) and 3(c) will be identified in a rapid training needs assessment with inputs from community consultations and will be detailed in the project training plan.
Solution
The project will finance service providers, specialized trainers, training supplies, and short-term technical assistance to implement this component. Furthermore, a systematic way for tracking, recording, monitoring, and reporting on the activities of this subcomponent will be developed and outlined as part of the project M&E system.
