Tina Hydropower Limited (THL) is leading the development of the largest hydropower project in the Solomon Islands—a 15 MW renewable energy initiative designed to cut electricity costs and reduce reliance on diesel. Your Role

As Electrical Engineer – Assistant, you’ll work closely with the Electrical Manager during the construction phase, supporting technical operations and ensuring smooth implementation of electrical systems for this landmark project.

What We’re Looking For

Degree in Electrical Engineering (4 years)
1–2 years’ experience in hydro or related projects (fresh graduates welcome!)
Valid Solomon Islands Driver’s Licence
Hands-on knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance & troubleshooting
Familiarity with hydropower systems: generators, transformers, switchgear, control panels, power distribution, and more

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in design review, approvals, and implementation
• Support wiring, cable laying, and conduit work
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and government authorities
• Report progress and collaborate on resource planning
