Completion of Habusi Water Supply System Marks Significant Milestone.

The construction of the Habusi Water Supply System has been successfully completed, representing a major achievement in improving access to safe and reliable water for the residents of Habusi and surrounding riverside communities.

The newly installed gravity-fed water system now delivers clean water to four communities, benefiting an estimated 114 individuals residing below the powerhouse site. This development ensures a sustainable water source for local households, eliminating the need for residents to travel long distances to fetch drinking water.

Community members have already begun enjoying the benefits of this improved infrastructure. One village elder expressed appreciation for the project, stating that it is a historic milestone for their communities, as they now have access to clean water close to their homes for the first time.

In the coming weeks, post-construction training will be conducted for the respective water committees to ensure proper management and maintenance of the system. This will precede the official handover of the water supply system to the communities.

This project underscores the commitment to enhancing community well-being and promoting sustainable development in the region.
