Expression of Interest: Biodiversity Conservation in Upper Tina Catchment
The Government of Solomon Islands, through the Ministry of Mines, Energy and Rural Electrification (MMERE), invites qualified consulting firms to submit Expressions of Interest for:
Assignment: Biodiversity Conservation and Offsets in the Upper Tina Catchment (SB-MMERE-531623-CS-QCBS)
This consultancy will support the Tina River Hydropower Development Project by:
- Designing and implementing biodiversity offsets and Protected Areas under the Protected Areas Act 2010.
- Partnering with landowning tribes to establish community-led conservation initiatives.
- Developing sustainable livelihood options and governance frameworks for long-term stewardship.
