Literacy and Numeracy Development

• The aim is for 600 CBSP community members to participate with the target of 50% women.
• The training will cover basic competency in reading, writing and arithmetic.
• Certification will be offered to those with limited or no primary education.
• Training will improve of the opportunity for participants to benefit from technical and income generation aspects of project.
• Training is expected to give community members, particularly women more confidence and empower them to engage fully in the consultation and participatory processes which form a critical part of CBSF and other development activities.
