Malango and Bahomea Trust Association Board of Trustees (BoT) and Community Advisory Committee (CAC) nomination process

The Malango and Bahomea Board of Trustees will consist of five members. In accordance with the Constitution, four members of the Association will be elected as Trustees as follows:


(a) Two women trustees chosen from amongst Malango and Bahomea Community and

(b) Two men trustees chosen from amongst Malango and Bahomea Community.


To ensure fair representation on the Board in the inaugural selection, this is taken to mean that Malango and Bahomea communities will each have one female and one male position reserved on the Board. The fifth Board member will be a THL employee who is nominated by THL.

Community Advisory Committee, consist of 14 members. 7 members of the association members to represent Bahomea Region and 7 members to represent Malango Region.

Minimum 1 year experience in a professional role.

Fit and Proper Person

Fit and proper person with no previous criminal conviction; or unserved criminal conviction on corruption, fraud, dishonest and deception related charges.

Nomination Form

Nominees to complete the Board or CAC nomination form

Submit Form

Nominees to submit form to the Project Office in person or in mail or online.

Police Clearance

Board/CAC nominees submit a police clearance to the Project Office.

5

Receipt

The Project Office confirms receipt.

Note: Candidates can nominate for both a position on the Board and the CAC. Should a candidate be successful in both positions, they will be selected as a Board member and will forfeit their CAC position.
